Hi everyone! There have been so many amazing black American figures throughout history and I enjoy celebrating them with you! Today I want to focus on an unsung hero — someone who has made a huge impact, but isn’t known by the general public! That person is Frederick McKinley Jones!
Mr. Jones was a great inventor and his contributions to society still impact us today. His most famous invention was the development of refrigeration equipment that was used to transport food and blood during World War II. This technology revolutionized many industries, including the distribution of food. I think we all need to give Mr. Jones a big THANK YOU! Where would we be without him?
